Our Services
Breast Imaging
The University of Illinois Medical Center offers full range of the breast imaging services , including screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsy, breast MRI and MRI guided breast biopsy. We are one of the leaders of breast imaging service in the Chicagoland with Radiologists specially trained in breast imaging.
Computed Tomography
The University of Illinois Medical Center offers full range of CT imaging including Neuro, ENT, Cardiac, Body, Vascular and Musculoskeletal Imaging. We use state-of-the-art equipment in CT Imaging. Our Radiologists are specially trained including a world renowned radiologist in ENT Radiology.
Interventional Radiology
The University of Illinois Medical Center is home to a team of physicians who use imaging technology to dramatically reduce the pain, risk and recovery time for patients they treat for a growing range of conditions, including varicose veins and uterine fibroids. These specialists, called interventional radiologists, replace traditional surgery with minimally invasive techniques and small instruments. We provide a full range of interventional services,including Varicose vein ablation, Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), Interventional oncology therapies (such as liver and colon cancer treatments), and other state-of-the-art services. With a team of dedicated interventional radiologists, we are always available to take care of the needs of our patients and referring physicians.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
The University of Illinois Medical Center is home to the community's first and our second 3 Tesla MRI for clinical use. With the exquisite resolution, exceptional image quality and faster scan time, we are improving patients MRI experience. The ultra-high-field strength of the 3T MR system produces some of the highest resolution images in the industry. Our Advanced Imaging Center is conveniently located off campus at Ashland and Harrison and features 3T MRI technology. Besides the two 3T MRI's , we also have two 1.5T MRI and host the world's most powerful 9.4T MRI, which is dedicated to advancing medicine through clinical research.
Ultrasound
University of Illinois Medical Center uses state-of-the-art equipment in Ultrasound Imaging, including 4D capabilities. We have radiologists that are specially trained in Ultrasound, especially in the area of Pediatric Imaging. We provide high-end ultrasound imaging with a minimal wait time.
