Recognizing the special needs of women, The University of Illinois Medical Center’s Women’s Health Associates offer a holistic approach to health care, providing comprehensive, personalized and specialized services for every stage of a woman’s life.

Our Services

We offer comprehensive, quality health care for women throughout their reproductive years and beyond. A team of physicians, certified nurse-midwives and other health professionals provide services such as primary care for women, wellness and preventative care, evaluations, and family planning and birth control. We treat and manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, sexual disorders, menstrual disorders, menopause problems, pre-cancerous conditions of the female genital tract and abnormal Pap smears. Women’s Health Associates also offers basic evaluation and treatment of infertility, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, breast disorders and infections in women including HIV. The physicians and medical team in The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology couple the latest clinical information and advances in technology with compassion to offer highly personalized care for patients. Group physicians can serve as a woman’s primary care physician, making referrals to other health care providers if needed. As such, the obstetrics and gynecology physician is a key partner in a woman patient’s health care throughout her life.

Women’s Health Associates also provides specialized services such as reproductive endocrinology and infertility, maternal-fetal medicine (high-risk obstetrics and perinatology), gynecologic oncology, and urogynecology (female bladder problems). Additionally, the group specializes in alternative methods to hysterectomy and other minimally invasive procedures.
