January-  National Blood Donor Month.  Every blood and platelet donor will receive a free cholesterol screen.

June-  De-stress yourself Blood Drive.  Every blood and platelet donor will receive a free stress ball.

July- Every blood and platelet donor will receive a fre cholesterol screen.

August- Free ice cream for all blood and platelet donors!

December- Holiday Blood Drive-When you donate blood or platelets, we will send a teddy bear from you to a sick child in our hospital.

FIGHT-4-LIFE Platelet & Drive- July and December each year...in response to a critical shortage of platelets and blood during the holiday seasons, 3 hospitals are teaming up to sponsor FIGHT-4-LIFE, a friendly competition to boost platelet and blood donations during this time.  The hospitals in competition are University of Illinois Medical Center, The University of Chicago Hospitals, and Evanston Northwestern Healthcare.  Stay tuned for details!
