Chicago Sky Players Visit Hospitalized Kids

Kids in the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago Pediatric Unit will take part in a special visit from Chelsea Newton and Jia Perkins, two players of the Chicago Sky, Chicago's WNBA basketball team. Sky guards Newton and Perkins will engage hospitalized children as they deliver well-wishes, pass out team t-shirts and sign autographs on Tuesday, June 27 from 1 - 3 p.m.

The medical center provides around-the-clock health and wellness coverage for Chicago Sky athletes and coaches, serving as official team physicians and healthcare partners.

The Chicago Sky play home games at the UIC Pavilion, located on the UIC campus.
