Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric surgeons provide a broad range of general, head and neck, thoracic and urological surgical care for all ages and sizes of children. They provide specialized care in the correction of birth defects and the treatment of extremely premature infants. In recent years the Division of Pediatric Surgery has been instrumental in the development of the new technique of living-related intestinal transplantation for children who suffer from intestinal failure. A new program for adolescents, who suffer from morbid obesity, provides minimally invasive weight reduction surgery.
