Pediatric Radiology

A comprehensive range of specialized radiology services is available for diagnosis and treatment of children. New ways of picturing the human body require new ways of interpreting what we see. In the last few decades, the field of radiology has progressed from x-rays to cutting-edge methods such as functional magnetic resonance imaging and interventional neuro-radiology. Making the most of such tools requires physicians trained and willing to see the old in a new light. At the University of Illinois Medical Center, we have pioneered some of the newest imaging techniques for diagnosing and treating children.
