Information DeskLocated in the lobby of the Hospital and in the lobby, Level 1 and Level 2 of the Outpatient Care Center, information desk staff can arrange for wheelchairs, direct patients and visitors to appointment locations, supply directions to University of Illinois Medical Center facilities and answer additional questions.

Food CourtOffering a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner fare, the Food Court is located in the Hospital and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekends and holidays. Vending machines are available in the food court and are accessible 24 hours a day.

ChapelLocated on the first floor of the Hospital in room 1140, the chapel is open to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Chaplains are also available to offer spiritual guidance to both patients and family members. To request pastoral care services or arrange a special service, please contact your nurse or call 312.996.0296.

In-Room TelephonesEach bedside telephone has an individual number so family and friends can call you directly. Calls within a ten-mile area of the Medical Center are free. For calls outside this area, dial 9 + 0 + area code + telephone number. These calls must be billed to a major credit card, telephone company calling card or must be collect or third-party-billing calls.
