American Heart Walk

The American Heart Association recently held their annual Metro Chicago Heart Walk on Friday, September 22, 2006.  A team of 426 faculty and staff members from the University of Illinois Medical Center participated this year, raising over $70,000 and bringing significant awareness and research support for our Nation’s #1 and #3 leading causes of death.  The Medical Center’s team finished fourth, out of all of the participating companies in the entire metropolitan area.
