Obstetrics and Gynecology

We provide the full range of obstetric and gynecological services - routine check-ups, pregnancy care, menopausal problems, cancer, infertility treatment and prenatal genetic diagnosis. Specialized clinical areas include high-risk pregnancy, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecologic oncology, uro-gynecology and prenatal diagnosis. In addition, we offer specialized and unique operative procedures, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. Special programs include the Nurse Midwife Service, which includes preventive, interconceptional and obstetrical care by certified nurse midwives. Department research efforts focus on all major components of female reproduction including ovarian function, fertilization, implantation physiology, reproductive genetics and pregnancy and parturition.
