I was a patient in the Transplant ICU. The care I received was excellent. The doctors were outstanding. Not only did they provide me with the best medical care, they were encouraging and supportive. This is a staff that works very hard and deserves recognition.

The staff performed their jobs with professionalism, cheerfulness and pride. I tell everyone about how lucky we are to have the University of Illinois Medical Center in our midst.

The transplant unit nurses were amazing. They were caring and attentive and really represented the definition of a team. Every one of them assisted us at one point or another. They were simply the best.

The nursing staff on 6 East was excellent.
