The Family Medicine Centers

The Family Medicine locations play an integral part in the training of our residents.  Each location provides the settings for residents during their three years of training.  Their differences complement each other, providing a combination of training in both a predominately insured population and a primarily underserved urban environment.

Family Medicine Center

The Family Medicine Center provides high quality, comprehensive health care for women and men of all ages, infants through adulthood. All our family physicians are board-certified and are active members of the faculty of the UIC College of Medicine. They are dedicated to the advancement of medical knowledge through education and research in addition to superior service to their patients.

Mile Square Health Center

Mile Square Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. It is managed and staffed by health professionals from the University of Illinois, and has a Board of Directors, 51% of whom are residents of the Near West Side of Chicago.
