Mile Square Health Center

 Mile Square Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center affiliated with the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.  It is managed and staffed by health professionals from the University of Illinois, and has a Board of Directors, 51% of whom are current users of Mile Square Health Center.  Mile Square offers a comprehensive array of Medical Care and Social Services which includes:

• Family Practice
• Obstetrics and Gynecology Care
• Family Planning
• STD,HIV, AIDS Care & Counseling
• Pediatrics
•  Dental and Mental Health
• Podiatry
• Nutritional Services
• Women, Infant and Children (WIC)
• A clinic that provided mental health services through Integrated Health Care.  

Furthermore, dental services will be provided starting in July at the South Shore location.  Medical services are provided on a sliding fee scale for patients who possess limited or no medical insurance. Patients are seen regardless to their ability to pay.
