Craniofacial Center

The Craniofacial Center is one of the oldest and largest facilities in the country dedicated to the team approach for the care of infants, children, adolescents, and adults with cleft lip and palate and other congenital craniofacial conditions. The Center also provides surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation for those with head and neck cancer or who have suffered craniofacial trauma as well as dental care for medically compromised and developmentally challenged adults.

The Center's goal is to achieve functional, cosmetic, and psychosocial normalcy through a team approach to patient care. The Center offers its patients a modern treatment facility with access to the most advanced technologies and procedures. Three dimensional digital imaging (radiographic and photographic) and computer-driven equipment allow us to provide our patients with the most up to date care.

There are two clinical units within The Craniofacial Center to meet patient care needs:

2. The Maxillofacial Prosthetics Clinic provides functional and cosmetic prosthetic rehabilitation for those with congenital or acquired craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate and head and neck cancer.
